Registration
1) What are the rates for the conference?
The rate is £ 140 + VAT.
2) If I have a problem registering on-line, who should I contact?
Please email: jheald@npmeet.com or contact us at (+1) 630-416-8801 from 8:am - 5:00 pm CDT (2:00 pm - 11:00 pm GMT).
3) I am not sure if I should sign up for a particular session. With whom can I talk to ensure that it is an appropriate subject for me?
Please review the abstracts on the website in the Session Description section for detailed information about each session. If you still have questions, please send us an email at bsmith@npmeet.com.
4) I can't attend the conference; can I buy the transcripts from the event?
Due to the nature of the conference and the potential for sensitive discussion to occur, sessions will not be taped or recorded for purchase/distribution.
5) Will you be offering any group airfare discounts to the conference?
Due to people’s desire to use their own preferred carrier and the many low internet airfares offered, we have found it most cost effective for our guests to secure their own travel arrangements.
6) Can I get a discount if I send more than one attendee?
We've worked to price the conference as reasonable as possible for every attendee. Therefore, there is one low registration fee for all who attend. However, if you sign up before 31 July, 2009 you can receive a £50.00 discount per person.
7) What is the room rate to stay at the hotel?
£ 250.00 per night including VAT and breakfast.
8) What if I want to extend my hotel stay beyond the conference block of Wednesday, September 16, 2009?
Place a request in the special request field of the hotel reservation and we will respond within 2 business days.
9) Can I stay at other hotels?
There are no restrictions. However, customers last year found it beneficial to be at the same hotel as the conference and with other attendees. We do encourage you to stay at our host hotel, the May Fair Hotel. Vertex has negotiated a discounted rate in anticipation that most attendees would stay at this hotel.
10) What is the conference cancellation policy?
There is no cancellation penalty for the conference as long as you cancel one week in advance. Registration fees are not refundable for cancellations less than one week.
11) How do I make a change to or cancel my registration?
To make a change: Access the confirmation email you received after registering. Copy the confirmation code and click on EDIT MY REGISTRATION DETAILS. You may paste the confirmation code in the box and then make any edits from there and submit.

12) What method of payment do you accept for the registration and related fees?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express. We will charge your card upon completion of your registration.
13) What if the course I want to take is full?
We will send you an email advising if a class opens up or if you are able to be confirmed a seat. You can even check onsite in case there has been a last minute cancellation.

1) What is the dress code?
The dress code for the conference, including the receptions, is business casual. The average temperature in London during the month of September is 19°C/67°F.
2) I am bringing my family to London; can I bring them to the functions?
Please understand that the daily events are of a business nature and are not suitable for spouses, guests or children.

1) Where is the May Fair Hotel located?
The May Fair Luxury Five Star Hotel, London is located right in the heart of Mayfair, with Piccadilly, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Green Park and Buckingham Palace close by. This luxury London hotel is also conveniently located for Trafalgar Square, The National Portrait Gallery, West End theatres, Hyde Park, Royal Academy of Arts, and Regent Street. It is also located approximately 29 minutes (26.7km) from the London Heathrow Airport.
2) What is the cost for parking at the May Fair Hotel?
The daily parking Self park is £ 20.00; valet is £ 55.00
3) Is Airport transportation provided?
No, the typical minimum one-way taxi rate from the following airports to the hotel is £ 45 (Heathrow), £ 65 (Gatwick).
Other options:
The nearest underground station is Green Park on the Piccadilly, Victoria and Jubilee lines. The Piccadilly line provides a direct link to Heathrow Airport.
Train
Fast track trains can be used for a quicker journey to or from the following airports into London:
Heathrow Express from Paddington Station. Journey time takes approximately 15 minutes.
Gatwick Airport Express from Victoria Station. Journey time takes approximately 30 minutes.
