Bob Davies became Chairman of the Institute of Indirect Taxation in 1994. Bob’s integral involvement with the institute allowed it to flourish so that today it is a member of the Confederation Fiscale European. Bob has also been very involved in developing the qualifying examinations as well as maintaining standards of practicing indirect tax practitioners. In addition Bob owns a successful VAT and customs duty consultancy, servicing accountants, lawyers as well as his own clients (e.g. UK VAT agent for a number of non UK domiciled companies).
